天衣無縫、私の穴澤和紗さんに対する印象はこの言葉です。素直で好奇心が強く、小さきもの弱きものを助け、相手がどんな人であっても一人の人として接します。

そしてまるで赤子が何かを吸収していくかのように、ひとつひとつの体験を糧として、てらいなく、先へその先へと手を伸ばして何かを掴み取ろうとする、その姿勢が彼女の一番の強みです。

穴澤さんは以前から女性をモチーフに描いてきました。正面からひたと見据えた眼差しの女性や、意思を感じさせる女性、少し憂いを含んだ表情の女性、彼女たちは穴澤さん自身を投影しているのでしょうか。

近年描いている少女は、大正ロマンのようなどこか懐かしい着物や部屋のしつらえと共に表されています。

洋服や着物に描かれている花も、絵中絵というよりも、むしろそれ自体の生命力を感じさせます。

比較的大きな面積で用いられる装飾金箔とそれに負けない鮮やかな色使い、花を彩る金泥の輪郭線が、花と光の存在感を際立たせ、鑑賞者を華やかな気持ちにしてくれます。 

Ten-i muhou, this is my impression of Ms. Kazusa Anazawa. She is honest and curious, helps the small and weak, and treats everyone as a person, no matter who they are.

She is like a baby absorbing something, taking each experience as a nourishment, reaching out and grasping it, and this attitude is her greatest strength.

Ms. Anazawa has long drawn women as her motif. Some have a fixed frontal gaze, some have a strong sense of purpose, and some have a slightly melancholy expression.

The girls she has been depicting in recent years are represented with nostalgic kimonos and room furnishings reminiscent of Taisho Romanticism.

The flowers depicted on the clothes and kimono also seem to have a life force of their own, rather than a picture within a picture.

The decorative gold leaf used over a relatively large area, the use of colors that are as vivid as the gold leaf, and the outlines of the gold mud that adorns the flowers highlight the presence of the flowers and light and give the viewer a sense of splendor.
